Message Here are some pictures Greg and I thought would be interesting for you all to see. It also makes you say, "Oh! that's how it works!"

This is an aluminum flywheel insert that comes on Fidanzas, Clutchmasters, etc... Jun uses no insert but there's gets ugly like this one. Those markings on the inserts that look like craters are heat spots (drastic temeperatures!) This insert was one year old/12k miles.
RPS Flywheels use a patented design that does not allow for warping and ruining your clutch prematurely. RPS good!

You can see here how much the insert warped.

Another one. You can really see that nasty heat spot on the wavey edge.

This is the backside of the insert. Note the discolorations.

The next pics are to help picture how the machined piece on a split pipe down pipe works and what it does to separate the wastegate from the wheel. Keeping them separated allows for better spool and less turbulance.
Here is a pic of what a turbo looks like w/o the machined piece.

This pic shows how the machined piece is separating the wastegate opening from the wheel opening.

A nice angle on this pic.

Here are the pieces on the actual pipe to which they bolt up to.

Greg can get more technical and expand on what I've shown you.
